Art Demo: Digital Art Apps with Lauren Ball

Your iPad and computer can open a new world of artistic expression and exploration, but it can seem intimidating when you’re starting out. If you’ve been curious about digital art but just not known where to start, Lauren will demo some of the most popular art apps so you can get a feel for which ones have the features you’re interested in. And if you’ve been a digital artist for a while you might discover a new app to add to your tool kit!
We’ll look at some of the interesting features of Procreate, ArtRage, Adobe Fresco, and more that help with many creative mediums especially drawing, painting and photography.
Lauren Ball is an award-winning illustrator and graphic designer. Pre-pandemic, Lauren led the Digital Arts Group for Yosemite Sierra Artists (YSA) and was instrumental in the transition of Yosemite Western Artists to YSA. He has a YouTube channel with over 7,000 subscribers for artists and illustrators.
