Bonus Plein Air Outing

YSA member Karen Bakke is coming to our area (from Washington State) and will be here next week. In joy and celebration, we are organizing a bonus plein air outing at the Pierce Lake Estates pond. Folks can meet first with Karen for coffee or lunch around 12:30 in Oakhurst. Then afterwards, perhaps around 1:30, we’ll caravan to the pond, which is just half a block from the home of Barbara Liss.

While street parking there is limited, it’d be easy to turn the corner onto Barbara’s street and a restroom is available if needed.

Plan on painting from 1:30 to 3:30 or 4, weather and temperature permitting. You will need to bring your art supplies, camera, easel and stool if you sit when you work. We will engage in social distancing, so please do also bring your masks, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes.
