Melanie Adcock’s presentation will cover the basics of NFTs, what they are, why people buy them, how the technology works, and the fundamentals of crypto art. This talk is designed to give someone who has an interest in fine arts a general understanding of the potential of crypto art and how to make it. It is not intended as financial investment advice.

About Melanie Adcock
Melanie Adcock is a lifelong artist who has a BFA from Kansas City Art Institute in Painting and an M.A. in Fine Arts from Eastern Illinois University in Fiber Arts. Her professional life led her to the technology industry and she founded her own company for technical writing. During the Pandemic she learned about NFTs and Crypto Art and successfully sold over 100 NFTs and is now working on an ambitious large-scale project. She is well versed in both art and technology and can make difficult concepts easy to understand.
