Join us for a special art demonstration with Sally Kent

Watch as she transforms natural materials—wool, silk, paper, and more—into luminous, organic light sculptures that radiate warmth and wonder. Through this process, Sally invites us to explore how art can be both a tactile craft and a soulful experience.

About Sally Kent

Sally Kent is a self-taught fiber artist whose creative journey began with the discovery of wet felting wool—a process that soon evolved into her signature “light sculptures.” With no formal art training, Sally has spent years refining her technique, drawn by the way light transforms and illuminates felt. Her luminous creations are both artistic expressions and extensions of her work as a psychotherapist, where she helps others heal, grow, and deepen their connection to self, nature, and the divine.

Inspired by the natural world and the ancient tradition of felting, Sally uses water, olive oil soap, and friction to transform wool into textured, three-dimensional forms. Each sculpture is carefully crafted by hand using sustainably sourced materials such as wool, silk, mulberry paper, metallic fibers, sumi ink, and other natural elements. The result is a glowing, organic piece that radiates serenity and wonder.

Through her Creative Light Sculptures, Sally hopes to offer not only beauty but also a sense of peace, comfort, and inspiration to those who experience them.
