Joyce DeWeese
Biographical Info I come from a family of artists. My Grandmother was an accomplished/professional artist who did everything from ceramics, oil painting, stained glass to native American basket making. My father had an art degree, and ended up teaching. My mother was a humorist and cartoonist. She had a column in the Mariposa Gazette many years ago. I grew up in Mariposa and then moved away for most of my adult life. I recently returned and now live in Coarsegold. My mediums of choice are acrylic and watercolor, and pen and ink. My passion for painting has been re-ignited since moving back here. I like to do commissioned work, tailoring it to what the client desires. Portraits, landscapes, florals, or any subject matter of interest.
