Gay Abarbanell
Biographical Info Gay has been taking photos since she was 6years old. The process has engrossed her throughout her life. She grew up, an army brat, and has traveled all her life. Her father taught her to process her own work in a portable darkroom built into a footlocker that traveled with them. Both the people and environments, seen in her travels, have challenged her creativity. She especially loves colors and patterns that pull her into their vortex. She has exhibited in many parts of southern and central California and has studied with many well- known photographers. She has won recognition for her work. She is pleased to share her visions with others.
