John Richard Minney

Artist Bio John was born and raised in England. In 1982 he and his family immigrated to the United States of America, settling in Southern California. In 2006 John and his wife moved to Central California and now reside in the village of Coarsegold. He is a self taught, award winning colored pencil artist. He is very focused on detail and working in colored pencil gives him the opportunity to show the detail that he likes. He also enjoys building up layers of color in his work and blending them together to achieve the effect that he wishes. He feels that there is so much beauty and detail in the natural world and hopes that his work will draw people’s attention to this beauty and detail that are there for all to see.
