Mary Beth Harrison
Biographical Info Mary Beth Harrison became an artist sitting at her childhood kitchen table, drawing dinosaurs and Dr. Suess characters with her siblings. She was blessed to have 4 years with an excellent high school art teacher and wonderful college instructors. She loves combining plein air oil painting, photography, and studio work to create memorable works of art that depict the stories of people, events, and beauty in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. Mary Beth is an active member of the Yosemite Sierra Artists and lives in North Fork where she and her husband raised their two daughters; she considers it a dream come true to live here. Local landmarks, travel in the United States and beyond, and colorful plants and produce provide inspiration for much of her art.
