Jennifer Moss
Artist Bio
I was born and raised in Evanston, Illinois and am a graduate of Northwestern University. My primary career is in internet development, but from 2000-2011 I enjoyed a second career as a professional photographer with a studio out of Los Angeles. My images have been published in both U.S. and international media, and featured on the BBC.
My photographic art seeks to bring light to important issues of our time: the environment, human rights, equality, as well as the intrinsic beauty of nature and being human. My artistic process begins when I capture an image, and is processed through many digital tools to become a distinct piece with many figurative layers.
In 2020 I started handcrafting jewelry from vintage components and crystals from the earth. My art jewelry has been featured and sold in many local art shows in the Yosemite area.
