Plein Air Group Outing: Dawn Lake Lush Meadows

Paint, sketch, photograph en Plein-air with Yosemite Sierra Artists. Dawn Lake is located in Lush Meadows HOA, (Mariposa, CA) off Clouds Rest and Sierra Pines Drive. Surrounded by pine and oak trees, Dawn Lake is the home to many birds. One can see bluebirds, killdeer, grebes, coots, Canadian geese, great blue herons, little green herons, ring neck ducks, and many more. A winding trail loops around the entire lake. There are bathrooms, an outdoor shower, picnic tables, an enclosed playground, BBQ stands, a swimming beach, and a raft. Dress appropriately, bring your art supplies, masks, gloves, sanitizer, and a packed lunch.
Because we may need to limit how many cars are using the parking spots, please RSVP to Barbara Liss @barbara26point2@gmail.com and we’ll organize some carpools. Dawn Lake is lovely, has restrooms and picnic tables. It is going to be a wonderful time!
