Our commitment
Yosemite Sierra Artists is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we do to support accessibility
We work to ensure our website is accessible by:
- Using semantic HTML to support screen readers and assistive technologies
- Providing text alternatives for all meaningful images
- Ensuring all functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast ratios throughout the site
- Providing captions or transcripts for video content where applicable
- Testing with common assistive technologies including screen readers, magnification software, and voice recognition tools
Known limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas of our website may not yet fully meet this standard. Some older PDF documents, and images uploaded by artists may not be fully accessible. If there are any significant accessibility barriers, please contact us.
Third-party content
Some content on our website is provided by third parties, such as embedded maps, payment processors, or social media feeds. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of content that is outside our direct control, though we endeavour to use third-party providers who take accessibility seriously.
