YSA Showcase at Fresno Arts Council

We will hang about 25 pieces only, in the smaller of two gallery spaces at the Fresno Arts Council,  1245 Van Ness Ave, Fresno, CA 93721. (Location not on the drop down list, above)

This is a non-juried, non-judged show without prizes or awards. The Fresno Arts Council is open 10 am to 3 pm. We will deliver 2D pieces only to hang on June 1st, between 10 am and 12 pm (I will be there to check them in). Because of the public nature of this site, we are limiting entries to “rated G” material – no nudes, no political art, no controversial subject matter.

We will hang the art ourselves and will do that from 12 pm to 3 pm on June 1st. There are portable walls, much like the ones we use at the YSA gallery. They will have gallery wires for hanging, so all work must be wired (no sawtooth hangers). We must limit size to no larger than 16×20″ plus frame to ensure we can take as many as possible. Pick up will be on June 30th, from 10 am to 12 noon.

All current YSA members are welcome to participate – please email me at: gallery@yosemitesierraartists.org to advise your intention to participate and send an image/name of your entry. The first 25 entries that meet the within parameters will be accepted. I will let you know when we reach capacity. Thanks!
