NEW LOCATION! – PLEASE READ! Friday, October 13, 9:30-12:30, our next Portrait and Still Life session will be at the Oakhurst Community College, in room OC 9. See attached map! The campus is on Civic Drive, just off Road 426, next to the Oakhurst Library. Our model this Friday is Ren Lee. There are wooden table-top easels available unless you prefer to bring your own. This is an exciting new venue!
NEW SCHEDULE BELOW FOR 2023: We are combining our ONE PORTRAIT FRIDAY per month with our STILL LIFE GROUP! Both groups will be set up in the classroom, and you can work from either, or both! This is a really fun and flexible new option for both groups! Nicole Hoke will be setting up a still life, and there are many taxidermy samples on the wall, for those who might find that of interest. Come join in the fun!
The sessions will be the same format: 20 minutes on for the model, a ten-minute break, and then our model will resume the pose.
Model will be 14-year old Spirit.
Our 2023 schedule is just ONE Portrait and Still Life session each month, Fridays from 9:30-12:30.
You will need to register and pay online, whether attending in person or via Zoom: $10 (members) and $15 (non-members). This reasonable charge pays our models their $60 fee. However, you may also pay in cash at the session if you have not prepaid.
