Visions of Self
Visions of Self is an international juried art exhibition for female artists, featuring work in self-portraiture, environment, emotions, world, and state of being. The 2025 show is currently exhibiting at MettaGallery.com.
Dates for the 6th Annual Competition
January 1, 2026 – February 8, 2026 – Open for Submissions
February 14, 2026 – Artist Notification
March 1, 2026 – Show opens online for Women’s History Month
Requirements
Visions of Self can include self-portraits, work depicting your environment, your emotions, or state of being. Work must be your own, and each artist will have the opportunity to add a Vision Statement that will be displayed along with your piece. Media accepted includes painting in all forms, photography, mixed-media, fiber art, sculpture, sketch/illustration, and digital art*. The main international show exhibits online, no shipping required. Sales are redirected to artists, no commissions taken.
*While digital art is accepted, works deemed to be primarily AI-generated are not allowed and will be disqualified.

Best of Show: $200 + Ribbon
1st Place: $125 + Ribbon
2nd Place: $75 + Ribbon
3rd Place: $50 + Ribbon
Honorable Mentions: Ribbon
Fees
$15 YSA members, $20 non-members for first entry. $5 each additional entry. YSA DISCOUNT CODE will be sent to members, but if you don’t have it contact jennifer@yosemitesierraartists.org.
