Plein Air at Sentinel Beach

Join us on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at Sentinel Beach in Yosemite!
Time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm (or later if you want to stay!)
Bring a lunch if you’d like to picnic with the group.
Sentinel Beach is on the valley floor, has plenty of picnic tables and parking, and two pit toilets. The views are all around and we hope will include plenty of fall color,
All YSA members and all mediums are welcome, as are any first timers. Car Pooling is recommended and must be arranged by the participants.
Driving Directions (Enter Sentinel Beach in Google Maps)
• Enter Yosemite Valley via Highway 140, Highway 41, or Highway 120.
• Turn onto Southside Drive, which is a one-way road going west through the valley.
• Watch for park signs and turn off for the Sentinel Beach Picnic Area located right along Southside Drive near the Swinging Bridge.
