Carla Rajnus
Biographical Info Carla Rajnus was born in Pasadena, California and graduated from Pasadena City College. While attending Otis Art Institute and for many years thereafter, she worked in architecture and was involved in the LA art scene. In the 80’s, she worked for David Hockney for approximately nine years on various projects. Simultaneously, she got her counseling degree from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, CA. She bought her first house In Highland Park in the late 80’; the first of six fixer uppers since then. In the early 90’s, she moved to Portland, Oregon where she was a mom and counselor. She moved to Livingston, Montana in 2002 for two years and was very involved with Livingston Center for Art and Culture. In 2014 she moved to Oakhurst, California. Her work has been primarily political/environmental and shown in Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, Livingston, Oakhurst and Madera . She loves gardening/nature, cats/dogs and dancing. She was very thrilled to be part of Renaissance 33!
